This article aims to report on the main injuries noted in
thanatological forensic medicine, in particular wounds
caused by blunt force, lesions caused by physical agents
and bites. The problem of dating the wounds and the
survival time is also dealt with, as well as the answers to
the recurring questions faced by the forensic pathologist in
the area of wounds.
