Abstract

The forensic evaluation of the damage engendered by meniscal pathologies of the temporomandibular joint
follows the classic pattern of a judicial assessment, most often accompanied by the opinion of an associated expert.
The key point is determining the imputability of these coronary troubles, which is done by studying both the dossier
in its entirety and the anterior state of the wound. Generally, the date of consolidation is set to 12 months after the
end of the treatment; the ongoing pain and the aesthetic damage do not exceed 3/7; the Total or Partial Temporary
Disability (TTD, PTD) between 5 and 7 weeks inclusive, and the Permanent Functional Impairment (PFI) is most
often evaluated according to the specific scale as between 2 and 10%
