Abstract

Stab wounds are frequently found in forensic autopsies. Correct interpretation of such wounds requires precise
documentation of traumatic lesions and complementary examination, especially microscopic examination. Practical
guidelines for the forensic autopsy in case of fatal stab wounds are shown in this article.
