Abstract

The purpose of this article is to take stock of the forensic
investigations that are to be implemented in case of firearm
deaths, from the documentation to the interpretation of
the gunshot wounds at the time of the death scene and
then of the autopsy. Answers to recurring questions asked
to the forensic pathologist in the case of firearm homicide
are also discussed.
