Abstract

The term eating disorder (PDD) has
was used initially for disorders of adolescents and adults but can also be used in
infant (Infant TCA). However, in the
young child, we more readily use the term
oral disorder (TO) or difficulties in
feeding.
The most frequent ACTs in older children and
adults are, anorexia due to decreased intake
and / or vomiting with as consequences a
weight loss or poor weight gain, and
bulimia which is mostly seen in young people
girls. In infants, TOs have a particular presentation.
