Abstract

The AAH (Allocation aux Adultes Handicapés – Disabled Adult Allowance) ensures an income to cope with the
expenses of everyday life. The PCH (Prestation de Compensation du Handicap – Disability Compensation Benefit)
is financial help designed to finance needs connected with disabled people’s loss of independence. Allowances for
disabled children include the AEEH (Allocation d’Education de l’Enfant Handicapé – Education Allowance for
Disabled Children) and parental presence leave, the AJPP (Allocation Journalière de Présence Parentale – Daily
Allowance for Parental Presence). The disability card is provided to every disabled person whose permanent
disability rate is at least 80%
