Vers une stratégie de sécurité extérieure de l´Union européenne

Abstract

The question of “the external security strategy of the European Union” requires at first to be clearly explained, a conceptual standpoint, before leading to pose the problem of the obstacles and limitations encountered to its establishment. It will then be interesting to analyse the concept of “magic triangle” to finally study the treaties and existing practices regarding external security. It turns out that if we can greet many initiatives, current and future progress in the field of Homeland Security will demonstrate the shortcomings of the current institutional order in external security.
