Abstract

This article suggests widening the quantitative methods of criminology in the study of terrorism which is still often, particularly in France, led from the prospective of cold war intelligence traditions. Used in the Anglo-Saxon countries, the interdisciplinary co-operation around quantitative analysis and around economic modelling is providing its worth. But its application in France would require a major change in attitudes...
