Grippe aviaire et sécurité sanitaire : une problématique à l’échelle mondiale

Abstract

The avian flu still kills, even if the number of victims remains low at present and if the media coverage is less important. The H5N1 virus, highly pathogenic and transmissible to humans, lingers in Europe. The threat of pandemic flu makes necessary to identify the risks and potential constraints for individuals but also societies. This is a transnational issue which must be analyzed in a global context, taking into account the sanitary aspects, but also the economical, geopolitical and security issues.
