Abstract

Pursuing a regular physical activity is encouraged
at any age, and its benefits have been acknowledged as primary prevention as well as a means of
reducing secondary disabilities. However, the great
diversity of programs often puts off the prescriber
and the recipient, and also proves disappointing
because of the lack of real objectively verifiable
results, especially where older subjects are concerned. Further on we present the organization of a
CAPS (Physical Aptitude Consulting Service for
Seniors) that leads to the proposal of a back to physical fitness program. Hence the PEP’C (a
Personalized Training Program) on an ergoCycle
which, within two months, improves by more than
30%, a minimum, the Endurance of a person. The
efficiency of the PEP’C opens up great prospects as
a therapeutic adjuvant as well as an incitement to
prevention in public health.
