Medical compression stockings and bandaging have
their recognized place in almost all indications of chronic
venous disease.
A selection of the recent literature in the CEAP C0s
- C4 indications allows an update of some evidence of
obviousness taking into account the dosage and the profile
of the compression exerted.
New and developing compression devices are very promising but require randomized and/or comparative clinical
trials to base their value.
