Abstract

Unlike vitamin K antagonists (VKA), Direct Oral
Anticoagulants (DOA) are administered at fixed doses and
do not require any routine biological monitoring.
However, the measurement of their anticoagulant
activity may be useful or desired in specific clinical contexts such as bleeding, surgery, thrombotic recurrence or
in case of suspicion of overdose or lack of compliance
