Abstract

Randomized controlled studies have been
initiated in several contexts and
experimental studies were carried out in order to
to assess how the compression works.
During the Consensus meeting organized
by the International Compression Club
(ICC) in September 2008 in Lucca (Italy), a
list of clinical methods has been analyzed
in order to find the most apt to demonstrate
the actions of compression in
patients with venous disease
or chronic lymphatic (see: www.icccompressionclub.com).
