Abstract

The authors report 3 cases of carotid false aneurysms
due to accidental fish bone ingest. These patients underwent surgical repair at Abidjan heart institute. The authors
insist on the need of meticulous fiber optic investigation
of the oropharynx and the œsophagus, in case of accidental bone stuck instead of hasty conclusion of a phantom
bone stuck syndrom.
