Abstract

Their specific effect on venous pain, which is not obtained with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), is
not explained, but characterizes this group of
medication and also justifies its
engagement during symptomatic CVD (1).
Inflammation appears to be at the heart of the pathophysiology of CVD. The micronized purified flavonoid fraction has been particularly studied in this phenomenon and its
proven effectiveness (2).
