Abstract

The REACH register (Reduction of
Atherothrombosis for Continued Health) (1,
2) has the advantage of being an international prospective observational patient registry
ambulatory, at risk of atherothrombotic events.
The 67,888 patients, aged at least 45,
recruited over 7 months in 44 countries, present
proven atherothrombotic disease
(coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease or arterial disease of the lower limbs; n = 55,499) or at least 3 FRCV (n = 12
389). Patients with PAD constitute
12.2% of the collective. About 3 in 5 patients
suffering from symptomatic PADI is
characterized by polyvascular involvement.
