NOS DEFIS DANS LA PATHOLOGIE DES ARTERES RENALES

Angioplasty remains a subject of controversy
due to a reported morbidity of
14% on average in a meta-analysis
dating from 2003. The blood pressure failure rate
is about 30% with satisfactory revascularization.
In renal failure with unilateral SAR, parenchymal involvement is associated and angioplasty has no favorable effect on creatinine clearance,
especially as there is nephrotoxicity
potential of the contrast medium and a
risk of per-procedure cholesterol embolism
