Arif Dirlik proposes – in a sum recently published – an articulated critic, dense and sophisticated, of different features of Chinese development, whose political, social, economic, ecological, cultural consequences come to modify for good the configuration of the world as we knew it, not always for the best. This article proposes an overview.
