Han Song 韩松 (1965-) is one of the most influential authors of the new wave of the Chinese science fiction which appeared at the end of the 1980s in Continental China. He is famous for his more social, engaged, gloomy or even obscure and enigmatic writings. He is also more and more translated in Western languages (three times in French and nine times in English). This article aims to analyze his favorite themes and his particular writing style through the study of many of his short stories, novels and theoretical works on science fiction.
